Who are we?

Friends, neighbours & founders of RIOT Broadcast are Stephen Anning and Peter Reyne.

Stephen Anning is the Director of RIOT and Peter Reyne is the Chief Technical Officer.

RIOT also consists of a team of specialised developers from around the globe.

RIOT began in 2021 and is now a proud technology partner of SEN Australia including the SEN Stadium and SEN Sync. RIOT has created official NRL partner apps and is part of the team nominated for a forthcoming ACRA broadcast engineering award in late 2024.

RIOT began as an idea. An idea to lead a hundred thousand stadium fans into a unison chant, led by audio instructions. Our fan engagement idea was as unique as our technological idea to achieve it. On the way to achieving our fan engagement goal, we realised our technological method is the next generation of radio. With immediate traction, major broadcasters worldwide have picked up and implemented our technological vision. We’re still working towards uniting a full stadium into a spontaneous fan chant!
